Hope to see you all at our April outing. The tides have been steadily worse since our first outing in February, but I’m still expecting a good day of tidepooling at Asilomar State Beach! And fortunately, the tides get good again for May!
As always, we will provide the coffee and some snacks. If you’d like to bring something as well do feel free.
The beach is relatively small, so we should be easy to spot with our table, but we’ll post a picture the day-of with specific instructions. While it’s nice to plan to arrive at the official start time so we can address the group, there is more wiggle room at this location to trickle in as you’re able.
Dogs are allowed, although they must be leashed at all times. And of course, we always love to see people bringing their younger kids out.
Please Note: This beach lies within the Asilomar Marine Reserve, so no collecting is allowed. We can poke around as usual, but just be sure to leave shells and the like where you find them. And as always, try to be mindful of the impact we leave.
